What is the deposit amount required to confirm my booking?

A 25% deposit is required within 7 days of placing a hold on your preferred stateroom or suite.

When is the final payment due for my voyage?

Final payments are due 90 days prior to embarkation.

What is included in my fare?

• All meals – menus designed by the famed Serge Dansereau of Bathers Pavilion.
• Open Bar including French champagne, wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Complimentary and unlimited Wi-Fi (connectivity dependent on navigation and latitude).
• Shore landings and exploration vessel outings guided by a team of expert Expedition guides.
• Kimberley Visitor Passes (For all Kimberley voyages)
• Entry fees to National and Marine Parks
• Non-motorised water sports (Kayaking, Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, Snorkeling)
• Fishing equipment (On Kimberley voyages)

Are there any additional expenses?

• Pre and/or Post voyage packages
• Additional shore excursions such as scenic Helicopter flights.
• Premium wines
• Tips for the onboard crew are appreciated but not compulsory.

Are there commercial flights available to/from your expedition departure ports?

Our expedition voyages were meticulously planned with accessibility in mind. Our Yacht Concierge is available to provide assistance in booking airfares for your expedition. Below, you’ll find details on the best ways to reach your departure port.

‘Pearls of The Kimberley’ Packages: Complete pre and post expedition packages commence and end in Broome regardless of expedition direction and embarkation port. For example, if your expedition ends in Wyndham, on most tours you will return you to Broome. If your expedition commences in Wyndham, your tour will commence in Broome and deliver to you Wyndham to embark your expedition back to Broome.

Broome: Qantas and Virgin Australia offer daily flights via Perth to Broome, with additional direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne during peak season. Preferred arrival time in Broome is 1300 to take advantage of hotel check-in at 1400.

Darwin: Enjoy daily direct flights to Darwin from major Australian cities.

Wyndham: For those embarking or disembarking in Wyndham, transfers must be arranged by PASPALEY PEARL by PONANT. Daily direct flights to Darwin and Broome are available. Private charter flights to/from Broome are also organised for those booking our Pearls of The Kimberley pre/post voyage package.

Dili: Qantas and Airnorth operate daily direct flights between Dili and Darwin, while there are also daily direct flights connecting Dili and Denpasar (Bali). Preferred arrival time in Dili is 1500 to take advantage of hotel check-in time and/or embarkation.

Denpasar (Bali): Daily direct flights from major Australian cities ensure convenient access to Denpasar.

Madang: Private charter flights will be coordinated between Cairns and Madang for all departures starting and finishing in Madang. Additional details and pricing will be available soon.

Cairns: Daily direct flights from major Australian cities make Cairns easily accessible.

Does my stateroom or suite have a private balcony?

Paspaley Pearl is the only boutique expedition motor yacht in the Kimberley boasting private balconies. Picture this – every suite on the Horizon Deck comes with its own private balcony, ensuring your journey is not just extraordinary but also intimately connected with the breathtaking surroundings.

Are children allowed onboard?

Our expedition voyages are tailored for adventurers aged 6 years and above. Feel free to reach out to our Yacht Concierge if you have any questions or need assistance.

I have mobility issues – is Paspaley Pearl suited to me?

Our boutique expedition motor yacht is a unique experience, though it’s worth noting that there are no lifts on board. To make the most of your journey, we suggest being comfortable with navigating stairs.

Is there Wi-Fi onboard?

Absolutely! Stay seamlessly connected with your loved ones around the clock with our complimentary and unlimited Wi-Fi! As a friendly reminder, given the remote destinations we explore, there might be occasional challenges with connectivity and speed.

I am a solo traveller – do you have a solo supplement?

Solo travellers, we hear you! Secure free solo supplement when you book the Ocean Twin Stateroom (Stateroom 102), applicable on every voyage. For other Ocean Deck staterooms, a 30% supplement applies, while Horizon Deck suites come with a 50% supplement.

Solo Supplement is subject to change, and may be increased at any time at the discretion of the company. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information. 


What medical assistance is available on board?

Rest assured, each voyage is accompanied by a fully trained first aid officer for your peace of mind. We suggest bringing along any necessary medications to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey.
